In wildlife photography it is important to adapt and be flexible amongst other necessary skills. This is what happened that afternoon when driving around Amboseli with my guide Raymond. We spotted a small group of buffalos not far from our position, and I asked Raymond to drive there and try to get as close as possible without harm. The place was absolutely fantastic and the light too. The cloudy sky offered an incredible background, and to my surprise the buffalos let us to get really close. It is well known the no tolerance these animals have with humans, but on that afternoon it seemed differently. After quite some time being there to let them become familiar with my presence I could make this beautiful image taken at low level and really close. The serenity and peace of the moment gives the atmosphere and mood.
