After reaching a remote corner of the conservancy I could get very close to this lonely male elephant. He was calm and seemed not to worry about my presence. The day was coming soon to an end but it was on those moments when I had the best light and this extraordinary photograph opportunity. The day had not been very successful, but this could change anytime. And it happened. In complete silence I could stay lying on the ground for a while observing the sunset and this majestic creature. Just there, in the wild, enjoying the moment….I frame a close composition and made the photograph. And after being there for a little bit more time, Juma and I returned to the lodge. It was getting dark soon, and it was time to rest and get ready for another unique day tomorrow.
